I have had many trainers in my life over the last 25 years. Sandy is the best by far. She is highly knowledgeable, pays close attention to my reps and the overall workout, and is always mixing things up so I don’t get bored. She also works body parts from different angles to maximize the workout’s effectiveness. She truly knows body mechanics and can work around sore spots, or through them. She is sweet, fun, and really engages on the level you want to engage. When I’m tired, she draws me in and gets a good workout. When I am full of energy and ready to take it up a notch, she is 100% there and ready. Choose Sandi for your trainer. You will be very happy you did.

Sandy is a motivating and encouraging personal trainer. She’s very supportive and understanding of the fact that I have type one diabetes. Due to diabetes, I need to stop several times during our session to check my blood sugar, and either slow down, drink water, or eat sugar tablets, depending on how responsive my blood sugar is to exercise. She’s very patient and thoughtful and never pushes me too much. That being said, she also keeps me accountable, checks my measurements, and reminds me to eat healthy, challenge myself, and workout consistently. Thank you so much for your help! Excited to see you at our next session!

Sandy has changed my belief about personal trainers. I had been with a trainer for a little over two years. She was a drill sergeant. I dreaded every session, and thought that training HAD to be that way. Then fate brought Sandy into my life….and poof, my whole perception of training changed! Like she says, she LISTENS to your needs. If you’re not feeling well, or feel like you’re being challenged accesively, she will cut back. I HATE working out with a passion, but I come down with a smile on my face when sandy comes over, because I know I’ll have a workout that won’t leave me dead, like with my previous trainer. And guess what? I’m actually seeing results! I lost a few pounds with my previous trainer, but mainly was maintaining my weight. With Sandy, I have lost, and keep loosing, because of her style, and her education, and her beautiful personality. My high school best friends and I meet yearly at the San Antonio winery.     Sandy is awesome!

    Sandy is amazing! She genuinely cares and wants to help you get to a better and healthier you. Sandy is very flexible with scheduling which I liked. She really kicks your butt and tries to coordinate your sessions based on what you want to work on. Overall would definitely recommend her for anyone that is serious and ready to start a healthier path.

    Sandy is the first trainer I’ve ever worked with. Her bubbly & fun personality made it a joy to work out. She was great at motivating me to push myself harder & also very encouraging. I was amazed at how much we accomplished in 30min & although exhausted, at the same time I felt great! I also learned so much as Sandy is very knowledgeable in her field.     Sandy is not your typical trainer but she’s a good one! She doesn’t yell at you and push you until you cry. Rather she counts your reps, cracks a joke, or talks to you to make the session time pass quickly. She keeps things from getting stale by never doing the exact same exercises in consecutive meetings. Sandy knows so many exercise variations that she will adapt your training if you don’t like a particular exercise or want to focus on improving one thing or another. She is also one of the few trainers that is willing to come to your house or a local park to train you. I highly recommend her. She’ll get you into better shape if you’re willing to put in the effort too.

    I could not be happier. Since beginning my workouts with Sandy back in November I feel so much healthier and better about my self. I finally stopped putting on pounds and started losing inches! Sandy keeps me in check and gives me a lot of support. This is exactly what I need in my life. Thank you, Sandy!

  • Sandy is a very kind trainer that will also kick your butt! She trained me for almost a year and a half, and I never dreaded a session. She kept the sessions fun, while making me work up a sweat. She was always encouraging to me, and she never made me feel I couldn’t do something. If I had a concern about an injury, she modified the workouts immediately. Sandy’s positivity and compassion make her a truly caring and effective personal trainer. I highly recommend hiring her, because she LOVES her job and, that energy was contagious (especially needed to someone like me, who hates working out! haha!) . I will train with her again, when I have the time!

    I wanted a trainer to help me prepare for a tough job that required eight days of hiking through a National Park while working twelve hours per day. Sandy got me in the best shape I’ve ever been. She learned everything I knew about what my job required and created a customized workout for each day we met, escalating the intensity and technicality as my job neared. I was ready for everything that happened, including the soreness and blisters! The only thing I wasn’t prepared for was the rattlesnake on the trail, but I don’t consider that part of Sandy’s responsibility.
    I recommend Sandy’s training to anybody who’s serious about fitness.

    It’s been a while since we had personal trainers, so there was a bit of a ‘gulp’ factor when taking the plunge once again. We never looked back – Sandy is awesome! Not only is she prompt and professional, but she makes working out really fun! She is open to suggestions, keeps every session fresh with a wide variety of exercises and adapts to your physical limitations. And…she also travels to your home, which is a major convenience factor. If you are thinking about bringing a personal trainer to your routines, Sandy is a brilliant choice – you’ll be so glad you did!!

    Sandy is such a lovely person to have as a trainer! She thinks of different hour long work outs for you for every time you train! We did a mixture of cardio and weight training, with special attention to the places on my body I wanted to tone. She’s super personable, friendly, approachable, and generous with her time. I also lost a few inches the first month I trained. She was also willing to meet me at a local park or my own residence, which was helpful with certain weather conditions. I would recommend her to anyone who wants personal training–if you’re looking for someone who yells at you and is more of a “sergeant” about it, though, this isn’t for you.

    This is my first experience with a trainer and my first real attempt at working out regularly. I am a software engineer that spends most of my time in front of a desk. I have nothing but good things to say about Sandy, she makes me feel comfortable while encouraging me to do the best that I can. I love that we workout at a park instead of a gym, and she has a wide repotire of exercizes so it never gets boring. I highly recommend her!

    I have been working with Sandy for about two months. She has been fantastic to deal with. She is knowledgeable, motivating, and her work-outs kick butt!! Sandy has been very flexible in scheduling appointments and she is always on time. The sessions she has created for me have been an excellent mix of cardio, strength training, and AB work.     I was very much in shape 3 years ago, but then the usual story happened, life got in the way. All that hard earned muscle deflated and I started rocking the couch more then a weight bench. Now nearing 30 I realized I really needed to make a change or else that sedentary lifestyle would become a harder habit to break. Thank thumbtack for leading me to Sandy, because I couldn’t have asked for anyone more on the mark when it comes to the kind of trainer I need. She pushes without being pushy, and she made me feel comfortable at the first handshake. Getting moving again is hard when you’ve been in neutral for so long, but Sandy has made the transition into drive an easy endeavor.

    Sandy is awesome. She’s really motivating but not pushy. I’ve been a lazy pig for the last 6 months, and she started me out with a routine that wasn’t ridiculously tiring where I wouldn’t want to continue. Definitely look forward to having many more workouts with her.

    Sandy is very passionate at what she does! She inspires me to be a better me… She is dedicated and pushes me to do things that I think I can’t. She even pushes my daughter to do more as well. She motivates her and gives her pep talks to make her move. Who ever gets Sandy as a trainer, will forever be in debt to her because she will make you love exercise as a life style and not only to fit into a pair of jeans.

    My only regret about training with Sandy is that we live over an hour away from each other! If she lived next door, I’d be training with her every day. Never the same routine twice. She truly cares and is passionate about helping people achieve and maintain their fitness goals. You don’t get ’em any better than Sandy!

    when i first met Sandy she is a very warm person. i knew i would work well with her. And I did, I got stronger,i really liked my work outs. she knew what i was capable of doing. and she pushed me. I did cardio, I ate well and I saw results.
